I am Jeff Howard, a Pittsburgh native working virtually as an search marketing consultant. I got started on the web as a senior at Penn State assisting in the development of Lionconncetion.com. After completing a marketing degree I worked as the founding partner in a data visualization startup, Academic Explorer. Finally, during this time I also provided CollegeGrad.com as a technology evangelist / search engine marketer. Since, I have focused all my energy SEO and search engine marketing. In my career as a SEO I have worked at a well-respected firm SEO.Elliance, where I managed a multitude of clients creating and maintaining rankings in a mix of industries. There I also assited in development of the a SearchEngineLand.com column called search illustated. Perhaps one of my favorite peices of work was this graphic demonstrating how to build a company on social media. Beginning this spring (08) I transitioned to consulting for a non-profit Adoptapet.com and have now spent considerable time building Catch Search Marketing as it stands today.
